This delightful old mill building has been completely restored and is situated in its own land overlooking the river, with natural pools for bathing about 150 meters up river, and a pretty waterfall on the other side. The river is lovely for children to play in, with cool clear shallow water running over the stony river bed, interesting rock pools, and stones to clamber over.
A vine-clad pergola covers the raised eating area in the courtyard, and there is another paved terrace up a few steps, surrounded by fruit trees and overlooking the river. The property is surrounded by beautiful scenery , with views to the Apennines. You can park in the vineyard opposite. There is very little traffic on the small road - a flock of black sheep pass by twice a day on their way to pasture, and on their return for milking. The shepherd is sometimes to be seen nearby sitting in a tree shaded by his umbrella, watching his flock. |

On the ground floor there is a comfortably furnished, cosy sitting room which has a wood burning stove and windows overlooking the garden and river. This room leads through to the dining area that is separated from the modern fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher by a half wall divider. The door leads directly into the courtyard.
Stairs lead to the landing that has views of the river. The attractive first bedroom has a long window looking down stream and another overlooking the waterfall. There is a further double room and a twin bedded room. A large bathroom with a bath, fully tiled shower cubicle, WC, handbasin , bidet and washing machine, plus a separate cloakroom with WC, handbasin and bidet complete the accommodation.
