COSTA D'ORSOLA HOTEL    Pontremoli
Originally a small village, this group of houses has been restored by the family with the aim of offering complete comfort to its guests without altering the architectural details so typical of the small villages in this area. Situated on a hillside close to the old Roman town of Pontremoli the views are magnificent. The sheep graze happily on the hillside and the snow capped Apennines look at their most dramatic in the Winter. There is a swimming pool and tennis court in the Hotel grounds.


IL BARDELLINO      Soliera in Lunigiana
In one of the loveliest parts of Lunigiana at Soliera di Fivizzano is the farm estate of Il Bardellino. The old farmhouse stands in acres of its own land which now include spacious gardens with a private swimming pool, bowls and other forms of entertainment. The delightfully furnished bedrooms all have private bathrooms and TV.
Guests will love the fresh country ingredients, transformed in the kitchen by the magic touch of the owner herself, Pierina.
